Five for Friday

1. What a week! Two miniature miracles entered the mortal realm this week! My sister and her husband welcomed their third, Mr. Beckham Bitsilly Robinson and our dearest friends, Dan and Kelly welcomed their first yesterday, also a Mr. but that's all I know as of now... I am so thrilled and happy for each of them. I'm glad they are healthy and happy and find myself counting the days until I can meet them. Congratulations!

2. Brrrr! I am OVER, way way over the cold. It's about 9 degrees here in the Lou and when the wind blows you feel like your face is going to fall off...which makes sense seeing as how the wind chill is -14! Whatever! Next week, we are headed to Jackson Hole to do some heli-skiing-awesome, the fact that it's -22, so not awesome and a total whatever! Time to pray for some sunshine.

3. We met with our realtor this week to see about getting our condo up for sale. We need it sold by May, by the time we take off for California. He seemed optomistic about the selling price, but just unsure of how long it would take to receive said selling price. We plan to have it on the market on Feb. 11th. Perhaps we should say a prayer here too.

4. We planned our "house hunting" or rather "apartment hunting" trip to Orange County this week. I am anxious and excited, we are planning on heading out mid March. I was thinking to myself the other day that as we get older we seem to down grade with each move...like we started in a 5 bedroom house with a pool, went to a smaller 3 bedroom condo with no yard, and are headed to renting a 2 bedroom apartment that hopefully has a garage...shouldn't it be the other way around?? Weird.

5. Wade has been cooking a lot lately. He is always really good to help with housework and cooking but his week he made two really tasty and really healthy meals. How lucky am I? I love him!

You did marry a pretty darn good guy in that wadey. Thanks for the sweet words about little Beckham. He can't wait to meet his auntie Kate, he's heard she's pretty great! And about that starting out in a big house, bummer deal... hope you can find something reasonable and fabulous in the OC!

Hi Katelyn, I am Amberly's friend. I have had some interesting experiences in St. Louis and you are right about the cold. You are going to LOVE Orange, California. Whatever you do, have fun.

Congrats to your sis and friend on the new babes!

I am sorry it is so cold. I HATE the cold. I have no idea how I lived in Utah for so long! It is nice to be in warm, AZ!

Good luck with the house sale and apartment hunt--so exciting!

Regarding #2, I too am way over this winter thing. While the temp is much higher in OR I've had just about all the gray skies and rain I can take. So, I'm joining your prayers for the sun!

Well I am sorry about the gross blog update that made you sick, but it is good to hear that you had five things to talk about on Friday. Amber asked me a ? about you, and I better receive an email soon. Hope you sell, and maybe I will visit in the OC, but never in St. Louis. Will you email again I have a couple of ?'s about your training for a marathon. I think I am biting the bullet. Whit
