Ivory used to have this happen all the time. One time I drove to my destination, parked, and got out of the car to find Ivory dyed pink! She had chewed on her darling red flower bow. It was all over her face, hands, clothes. Eyes covered or not, Tess is darling!
It seems like every single time we got Emma out of the car when she was a baby she had her eyes covered by a headband. After a while Marky started fixing it for her from his carseat. Maybe you could train your dog to sit next to her in the car and fix it!
