I ran my first post-baby race on Saturday. The Southern California Half Marathon. I felt good and strong the entire 13.1 miles. I found I had to push it a little harder the last 2 miles to maintain my pace, but I maintained. I finished with a personal best time. That felt good. I was proud of myself that morning.
My support crew. Have you ever seen a better looking support crew? I think I will take them with me to every race. Next time, I will join Tess to cheer on Dad.
The Santa Ana's blew in this weekend and with them brought unseasonably warm temps. It was 80 today. Ahhh. So we have taken to the streets for some walks. Warm January temperatures make this California baby happy.

Congratulations Woozer! What a great accomplishment after having a baby just 5 months ago. You're in great shape. Way to go! Little Tessa looks like she is growing! You better get her up here quick. I'm afraid I may not recognize her!
Tutz
You go girl! - Congrats on the race. And Tess is growing up so fast and still so stinkin cute.
sister, I am proud of you, you look terrific!! and little tess needs me to kiss her. don't take her to grams, bring her to me!
Way to go Kate! I am a little jealous of the warm beautiful weather. Live it up for me.
Good for you! That is awesome!
Tessa is so adorable, when you do make it up here, she and Mya need to meet one another.
And 80 degrees sounds absolutely blissful!
Katelyn I am so proud of you!! You must have a very strong bladder! And Tess is not a new baby anymore. Can you believe how fast they change? She needs 5 more kisses per day just because she is growing and changing so fast.
Your Tessa is just beautiful!!
Great job on the race! And on that cute baby, I mean you get props for that too, right?
Amazing...impressive...inspiring! Katelyn, you're the occasional kick in the pants that I so desperately need. Way to go!
Wow, way to go! And a PR! Tessa's got a tough momma.
Wow, you're amazing! Love the pictures of little Tessie in her stroller. She's a beautiful little girl. It's fun to see them start to look like a little person with her own more distinct facial features. What a cute little lady.
