The Big 6

Well guys, a big thing happened over the weekend. I hit a milestone. These big blue eyes hit the 6 months old milestone.

I can hardly believe it myself, seems just the other day I was warm and cozy in my mothers womb. My parents are just beside themselves with disbelief saying all sorts of things like, "It's just gone by so fast." "Can you believe it's been 6 months." "She's growing so fast." That's true, I have definitely grown, I used to be pretty small, see?

But, that is the point is it not? I am supposed to grow aren't I. Anyway, I am doing some very big girl things right now. Such as reading books, I love to read books with my mom and dad, here is me just catching up on my nursery rhymes.

I like to do a lot of things by myself. Like turn the pages of a book, I try really hard to hold my own bottle. Now that I am sitting up all on my own, I can play pretty good and entertain myself pretty well all by myself. Although, I do love it when mommy or daddy plays with me, or even when my big sister Chloe comes over to check out what I'm doing, I've just recently began to think she's pretty interesting. I can't roll over quite yet, I'm getting close, just no cigar! I'm babbling quite a bit, when I feel like it of course. I can also be quiet as a mouse if I feel like that too. I smile a bunch and giggle too. I LOVE to be nakie bakie, I LOVE to be outside, more than anything really and I quite like my thumb.

I'm getting very curious. I can be very observant, watching people very closely sometimes if I am intrigued with what they're doing. I can focus on colors and objects now and try my best to reach and get them if I can. I am just figuring out what food is and think that it could be pretty cool to try it out soon, we'll see what the Doc says this week I guess. I am a happy baby, really have been from the very beginning. I'm pretty easy going and mellow, few things get me real worked up. I am a good little sleeper, I've been pretty good at that from the get go too. Mom and Dad seem especially grateful for this, I tell them "No problem, what ever I can do to help. I love you guys." I also keep bows and hats in my hair. My mom thinks this is great and hopes it will continue all the days of my little girl life. Who knows? I don't have the answer to that one yet. I tell her, "We'll see mom, we'll see."

I can make the same exact scowl today as I did when I was very first born. It's not really a scowl, it's more like my bored face, just the face I make when I'm not really into it.

Well, I'm waking up from a nap now, so I gotta go. How many 6 month old babies do you know that can blog in their sleep? I'm one smart cookie. At least that's what mom and dad always say. Well until next time...
