That's my suggested name for the cabin...for those of you that care. Because that's exactly what it is, the very definition, the damn mosquito's aside. A place to resurrect and reconnect as Wade would say. Adrenaline (7 AM freezing cold ski's) and melatonin (sleepy naps on the dock or the back of the boat) are produced equally thus creating the perfect hormonal balance. The only thing missing was Wade, working hard for the money back in CA.
I told you it was cold...

But we do it because at 7 AM, the water looks like this...

Afternoons are filled with things like this...and smiles and giggles and inner chuckles.
Happy Birthday America. There's something about celebrating Independence Day in a small American town, the kind that dot this great nation and I tend believe make up America's good ole soul.
And watching fireworks in the boat was as cool as one might expect, sitting right underneath them, just like it should be.
The drive back however with every other boat on the lake...

Yep. Sweet respite.
Until next time...

Love your 7am water face. I have that same look!
What a fun time. We are going to McCall in August, I am so stoked. I am not sure if we will be renting a boat or not though. You guys are pretty lucky.
Tessa is so cute asleep in her life jacket! I remember going to McCall with your family a couple of times. It's so beautiful.
