1. My family. The one I was raised in. They are good, sharp, funny, kind and generous people. They love me unconditionally, support me endlessly and would defend me fiercely and I for them. What a gift to be considered among them.
2. Tessa and Wade. The one I have created. I look at them often and think to myself, "I love my little family." We are so happy together. What a wonderful life we have ahead of us.
3. Thanksgiving. What a great holiday. It's certainly the most relaxing one around, especially if you're smart and go out to dinner. It seems to be one of the better centered ones too. Time spent with dear ones, reflecting on that which matters most.
4. Time to relax. Everyone needs this. I got some time to do a bit this weekend. I needed some recharging after last weekend and prior to the holiday busy-ness that lies ahead. Ahhh to be lazy for a few days.
5. The Gospel of Jesus Christ. It centers and directs my life. My knowledge of the Savior, his Atoning Sacrifice and the Plan of Salvation provide me with peace, priority and perspective everyday. A dear, dear blessing.
