3 Ounces

We went to the doctor today to check if T had gained any weight since our last visit a month ago. Doctors orders last time were to make sure she did. Well, she did. 3 ounces. Apparently not enough to count. Dr. Amit wants to get some blood work done just to rule out any "issues". My gut tells me she's just fine and a little mini petitey bug. She will hate it and so will I. But we'll get things checked out anyway.

She hated the scale today and the nurse and the doctor. She knows when people are up to no good.

You know what she does like though? What is good? Coloring. She loves to color.

In her swimsuit.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with a little girl as smart as tessa-bug who is artistic and has fantastic fashion sense. get her checked out to ease your mind, but you've got one awesome little bug there.

sorry, me again. I kept thinking about tessy last night and thought that if beckham could just share his chunk, then they'd both be about even! I mean, he's not huge, but the kid is getting heavy! we'd love to share...

and while I'm on a roll... let's be grateful that your female is the small one and my male is hefty. the other way around would be so sad for both of them!

Oh and what a darling little ruffle bum swimsuit it is! Sorry for the stress from doctors. Sometimes I'm glad for the extra information from my doctor so that I know everything that could possibly maybe be an "issue" with my boy...but sometimes I just don't really need more things to think and worry about. She looks healthy and beautiful to me. I agree with Amberly. Nothing wrong with a petite little miss.

HEELLOOO Dr. Amit, Have you seen Tessa's mamma? She is hardly bigger than Tessa. Nothing wrong with this little darlin. Get the tests done and get it over with. But then give Tessa whatever she wants after putting her through all that sticking and poking. Poor thing! Maybe she would like to wear her simsuit to the doctor's!

Silly doctors, can't they see a perfectly healthy child when they look at one? Okay, so I've never met Tessa, but our good friends also have a tiny little girl. They had to do the testing thing too, only to find out what they already knew. Their daughter is a super healthy petite little girl. Oh, and your little Tessa is super cute swimsuit and all!

Your mom's comment made me laugh. Emma got about ever toy and treat she could ever want when she had to be poked and prodded. Seriously, if she would have asked for a pony her dad would have bought it for her. Good luck little Tessy. I'm sure you are just fine.
