Not going to lie. I was totally star struck. Wade kept telling me I was ridiculous. Apparently it was obvious I was rehearsing my approach vs. deciding between brioche french toast or eggs and lox. And yes, I used Tessa as my pawn, telling her, "Say hi to Shaun, Tessa". Shameless, I know, but it worked. He turned right around, said hi, was gracious as can be. I mumbled out something like, "Hi Shawn. Can we take our photo with you." As I replayed it over and over in my head moments after I thought of a million good jokes, clever congratualtions on a job well done in Vancouver and other witty, charming remarks, but alas was fumbly and speechless in the clutch moment. I was giddy none the less, but Heaven help me should I ever run into Lance.

But let's be clear about the Lance thing. If you ever get the chance to see him could you please give him my number? I'm certain that he would be into a happily married, chubby momma.
