This weekend.

Tessa broke her nose. Or so she said. "I broke my nose dad, I need a band-ded.". Fixed it right up. Keep it in mind next time your kid breaks their face, just needs a band-aid.

We played beauty shop. Curled our hair, painted our nails. This was Tessa's debut on mom's toes. Or shall I say feet?

Last night Dad went home teaching (visiting and taking spiritual messages to other members of our church). So did Tessa and I. After dad left, she slung her church bag over her shoulder, walked right out the front door, turned around to tell me, "Mom, I go teaching." And out I followed. We walked all around the block "home teaching" all the way.

When having a monstous tantrum Friday afternoon during a diaper change I suggested she look at out the window to see if Dad was coming home yet (trying my darndest to redirect...). "No mom, I don't like that! I don't like dad!!" "What?" I replied, "You don't like dad? Do you like mom?" "No! I don't like mom." "Tessa, this makes me so sad, who do you like?" As the blubbering slows, "I like my friends." Awesome. I thought that wasn't supposed to happen for like 11 more years.

The crazy wouldn't have a thing to do with a nap yesterday afternoon. So we turned on a movie and made popcorn. She must have said, "Thank you mama." 14 times. She's downright appreciative and gracious when she wins. I, of course, indulged every thank you.

When she's not throwing her king size tantrums or making ridiculous demands, she's the most hysterical, enjoyable miniature person on the planet. That other stuff...it's a phase right?

Love the toes. Ivory did a number on my Mom's hands the other day.

P.S. I hope Tess out grows her "phase" faster than Banks is. YIKES, he is a nightmare!
