Let's just make it an even 10 for Tuesday:
2. Tessa has insisted on wearing her jammies for naps lately. I usually oblige.
3. If it's not her jammies, it's her new ballerina dress. I usually oblige here too, because it is soooo cute! She starts ballet and tap next week. If you could see her in her tap shoes you would probably fall over with disbelief that there is such a cute little person walking around the planet and that YOU have the privilege of knowing her. Who I am kidding? You will probably see a picture.
4. She also put her baby in time out the other day and told her to use soft touch. I choose to believe that means she's learning. Funny.
5. Wade has been nursing a hip flexor since the marathon. It's prevented him from doing any sort of meaningful exercise since. The love of running has it's price.
6. This weather has gotten me all into the holiday mode of thinking. I have all these great ideas brewing about in my head. I hope I can make them all come to fruition.
7. I have been wanting to get Photoshop suite for awhile now. I think of things all the time I would create on there if I could. But do you know it costs $800??!!! $800 freaking dollars. Devastating.
8. Have you ever coughed up blood before? Wade has done it twice in the past week. It makes me nervous. He is otherwise (other than the bum hip) totally fine. We looked it up online and couldn't find anything real conclusive, but I don't like it enough that if it happens again, I insist he walk across the hall and see his Dr. friends in the ER.
9. We got to attend my cousins wedding this past Sunday on the beach. I was curious how they were going to pull it off on this particular beach, but they did. It was lovely and I'm so glad we went. Theirs is a true love story, committed to being together despite oceans, cultural and religious differences, disapproval from loved ones. I felt lucky to be a part of it. She looked exquisite and he, well he melted my heart and brought tears to my eyes when I turned and looked at him, looking at her walking down the aisle. That is the best part of any wedding, when the groom see's his bride for the first time. Wade and I reminisced about our beautiful day. I can't believe it was 7 1/2 years ago.
10. We received our Halloween package from Tutz yesterday. I always look forward to that package! I think Tessie does too now. We have so much fun opening it, exploring all the treasures inside. My friends can't believe my mom still sends me holiday packages, I hope I keep getting them until she's 90. I plan on doing the same thing with my kids.

oh im still dying about the wedding. my heart breaks a little bit everytime i think about it. im SO glad you went. i wish i wouldve just bit the bullet and bought a plane ticket!
hilarious about the doll in time out.
Oh I bet she looks so sweet in her little ballerina dress. Can't wait for pictures. Hope Wade feels better soon. It's got to be killing such an active guy to be out of commission. I love your mom. She is so great. Nothing like a box of tangible love to just light up your day.
Photoshop, I know. Ridiculous. We got it when Mark was taking some classes and thus got the student discount, which is still ridiculous, but less.
Here's some randon thoughts.
Get Wade to the Dr. Send a picture of Tessa in her ballet and tap get up. Funny that she is telling her doll, 'soft touch'. she is catching. Heard about the wedding...happy and sad. Seriously Woozer, 90? I won't know who I am by then.
Katelyn, Thanks for you note on my blog. Yes, it has been so devasting. I have never known grief like I have this week. Please, if your brother does say something, I would love to know. He is lucky to be serving in that mission. The president has led well this week and been a rock for our family. They had a memorial service on Tuesday where my sister and her husband and Nick's companion spoke. The strength to do so could have only come from one place. I leave today for the funeral. It is going to be a very difficult weekend. Thank you for your prayers.
