Halloween

Halloween seemed to last all month. We celebrated early in October with parties and pumpkin patches, pumpkin carving and coloring and costume fashion shows all the way up until the 31st. It even felt like fall here this year. Tessa seemed to get the concept, she was always "spookin" us, responding when asked what she was going to be for Halloween, "I be a Halloween witch. A spooky witch!" (she even won the broomstick contest), pointing out every skeleton, ghost, and scarecrow she saw and come trick or treating she somehow knew how to open that bag right up, say thank you and then hurry down the driveway and say to mom or dad, "Here, I have a treat for you!", reaching in her bag to share.

Such a little sassy pants in that first picture. I love it! And that big grin in the picture with the hay bales is just adorable. You're got one darling little witch there.
