Everyone should have friends like mine

I have great friends. Wonderful, thoughtful, fun, inspiring friends. They are my family here, they make me laugh, they make me stronger, faster, funnier, happier, better, they help raise my child and last week they threw me a baby shower. For my boy to be. And not just any baby shower, the cutest boy baby shower you ever saw.

It was themed 'London Transportation'. Did you know I was supposed to be born a European? Things got mixed up in heaven and I ended up in Utah which isn't half bad, but at times I can actually feel my heart aching for things European; like cobblestone streets, wooden children's toys, brilliant accents, history, architecture hundreds of years old, baguettes and flower stands on the streets...and so on and so on. Perhaps in my next life. Or with any luck, maybe this life.

I failed to get a photo my myself with these great friends of mine, a shame, because they are also pretty. I feel like I have a much better handle now on what I still need for this child of blue, or non-pink to enter our home. Many, many thanks.

I am so excited you guys are having a boy. He is bound to be a stud. Please bless that he will be born with a British accent! I am with you...London is calling.

P.S. The Hunts look fabulous (as always). I could eat Tessa. She is scrumptious.

Those are awesome friends! We had that kind of closeness everywere we've lived. Friends really do feel closer than family when your lives interact so much and you share the daily ups and downs. I'm glad you have them to celebrate with! And CONGRATS on the boy! Hope you're ready for that! hee, hee.
