Wanna know how we can tell? Baseball. And beach. We went to our first Angels game of the season this week. The kiddo's were troopers. T loved watching the "silver guys" (not the Angels...they're the "white guys") and Bode eventually got bored.
I look old and tired in this photo. I am tired. I need Bode to sleep consistently through the night. A cut and color wouldn't hurt either.
The boss and her dad.
See? Bored.
The past month has a given us a few warm and sunny days. On one of those I got brave and took the littles to the beach. I know it sounds mega-lame to say that going to the beach is hard, especially to those of you that live where it's still freezin'-bajeezin', but after huffing two kids, a beach bag, sand toys, umbrella and chair down the sand and back I was ready for a nap. But do you see the happiness? It's worth it, always worth it.
Note to self: Make the crazy hold still for 60 seconds after spraying on sunscreen.
There's a girl who loves the beach. A true Californian.
And there's a dude who loves being lulled to sleep by the crashing waves.

Ball game looks fun! Before too long, Bode will be taking his mitt along to catch the fly balls.
You hafta get a golf cart if you're gonna take so much stuff to the beach! Holy Cow! No wonder you are ready for a nap.
we've been playing baseball in the backyard lately. beckham can connect with the ball better than any of us... that's either super pathetic for us, or he's a natural! I wanna come to the beach with you. I'd even carry something for you.
How has Tessa grown up so much. Killing me.
