4 Months

Once again I am crying that my kids are growing up way faster than I am prepared for. My little boyfriend is already 4 months old. I have a crush on my little Bode Banks and basically just want to kiss him all day long.

At four month, my delicious, squish-a-licious is:

-starting to play with toys, mostly trying to find a way to get them in his mouth
-smiles from ear to ear, especially when someone is talking to or smiling at him
-lets out a yelp or scream if it's been to long since someone talked to or smiled at him
-gets called Bode Banks 80% of the time by 80% of people, it's rarely just Bode...

-sits in his bumbo and hangs out with mom while she's in the kitchen
-loves to have blankets or burpers to play with and chew on
-will definitely have bright blue eyes and blond hair
-has some strong muscles, his like to try and stand on our laps

-wakes in morning smiling and kicking, kicking, kicking!
-thinks his sister is pretty hysterical. he likes watching her and having her hand him toys and play with him
-is starting to defend himself when said big sister gets to close. he'll grab a handful of hair, twist it up in his fist and smile the day away!

-Bode is trying to set the world record for youngest child to ever fit his fist in his mouth
-likes hanging out with his dad watching sports.
-can roll from tummy to back
-can scoot on his tummy pretty effieciently

-is not a champion sleeper like his sister was at this age. He sleeps much better on his stomach and has for several months but wakes up at least once a night, often times because he's rolled over and refuses to sleep on his back. That or he flails about and it keeps him awake, we just have to go in there, roll him back over, give him a pat on the back and he goes back to sleep until 7 or 7:30. The only time he'll sleep on his back is when I set him down for 5 minutes on his sister's bed so I can finish doing my hair before we run out the door in 6 minutes...of course
-is a good little eater and a good little burper
-loves to be outside, a walk out the front door will often calm him right down when nothing else will
-is starting to take an interest in what we're eating, he watches us pretty closely

Stats:
25 inches - 65th percentile
15 lbs. 2 oz. - 50th percentile
43 cm - 65th percentile
(he seems to be evening out a bit...)

He is a precious baby. How is he doing with the sleeping at night now? After letting him cry, is he going back to sleep on his back? I loved holding and kissing him. He is an angel baby.
