And a hello to fall. We squeezed in a Saturday morning walk on the beach before the rains came this week. Tessa entranced by the sun and sand. Bode entranced by the rain.
He sat here in the door way for quite a while, checking things out, trying to figure just what this variation of sunshine and blue skies was all about. He chatted that rain up for awhile.
The few days prior we headed to Strands for a walk. As we headed south on the beach Wade said, “Where we live doesn’t suck.” No. It doesn’t.
After Conference on Sunday we cruised to Corona Del Mar to peruse the annual sand castle contest. T quickly found her favorite. She is hell bent on being a mermaid for Halloween. I am complying by jazzing up a hand me down mermaid dress and putting Bode in a stuffed shark. Which he despises.
Goodbye summer. Welcome Autumn.

Those pictures of Bode are just like you when you would sit out back on the steps when it was snowing. You would just sit and watch the flakes softly fall. You were mesmerized.
He looks so sweet and peaceful...where was Tessa?
