Pumpkin City

The Saturday before Halloween we took to the Pumpkin Patch. Because that’s what you do in October when you have kids. Or when you live in Utah and need a date that doesn’t include going to a bar. Sadly, or not sadly, we live in South Orange County and this Pumpkin Patch was in a mall parking lot.  They do a great job however and I like to think if we did live somewhere, where they put pumpkin patch/carnivals/fall festivals in actual farms it would resemble this.

Highlights:
-Wade took Tessa into see the goats and Llama’s. Because remember, I have great disdain for goats. And did you see that photo? The goat is EATING Tessa’s skirt. Hence the reason I need to quit wearing skirts into petting zoos!! Or just quit going in all together. She however seems unfazed.
-Bode and Tessa sitting in a big pumpkin pile. Bode is a good sport.
-T took a spin on the John Deere’s. She was easily distracted.
-We might have another bull rider in the family. Can you see how happy Bubs is sitting on the hay bale horsey? That is true, simple happiness.
-The swing and boat rides were I kid you not, like 20 minutes long. You definitely got your money’s worth. But that boat…I kept thinking, “Wrap it up! She is getting her brain shaken near to death!”
-The overhead lights and pumpkins lined up in neat rows made for a charming little atmosphere. It was a fun family night out.

That looks like a fun outing. Bode has a look of concern on his face sitting in that pumpkin patch with Tessa leaning on his head.
But, he does seem to like being straddled on that hay-horse. Boogs may have a partner in crime...
Cute pictures!
