Potato soup at the Murray’s. Sled races down the stairs. Decorating cookies for Santa. The night going splendidly well for so many people in a not so big space. Cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning. Homemade cranberry salad dressing. Christmas jammies. The Night Before Christmas read before bed. Setting our cookies and milk right by the fireplace where Santa was SURE to see! Laying out stockings. Egg strata for the morning. Parents in bed by 11 PM, wahoo! 7:30 wake up call by Bode, followed swiftly by Tessa. Luke 2 in mom and dad’s bed. “OH MY GOSH” proclamation when she saw the princess dress up extravaganza. New jeans and new flats. Bode’s first Christmas. Bode not quite knowing where to look. An entry into Ironman Arizona 2013. An hour or so of opening before breakfast. Car track. 8 wardrobe changes. A peaceful, mellow morning. Bode’s obsession with Tessa’s pink recorder that was in her stocking. Bountiful generosity from family afar. Turkey prep for dinner later in the day. First turkey ever to be cooked by the Hunts. Nap for Bode, more opening presents for the other 3. Church. A lovely music program. Bode WIRED!! Afternoon naps. More dinner prep and quick clean up. The arrival of dear friends for dinner. GOOD TURKEY!! Red velvet cake. Good dinner time conversation. Sweet baby twins. Happy kids playing together peacefully.

It does look lovely. Little Tessa has so much sass. love that girl. And Bodie sure is getting big! Looks like a wonderful Christmas. So much more fun with littles around.
