On the 26th, we cleaned up, packed up and headed up to McCall for a fun filled week to ring in the new year and spend some time in the snow. Unfortunately, the snow really never joined the party, but we managed to have a good time anyway. Such is the case when in McCall. Over the next 8 days we:
1. Missed our connection due to a delayed flight out of Orange County. This led to a 4 1/2 hour lay over in Denver and put us into Boise at 11:45 PM. McCall 2:30 AM. Awesome.
2. Went sledding. Bode was a titch unsure.
3. Went ice skating. Tessa wore the smallest skates known to man. Bode was bored. Wade zipped T around the rink while she waved like she was in a parade.
4. Played lots and lots with cousins.
5. Missed the soon to be newest member of the family by a hair.
6. Went for walks with dad. And in the woods with Bode.
7. Endured sleepless nights while Bode endured chest congestion and fever. Poor little Buddy.
8. Watched Tessa and Seneca wear basically princess dresses for 7 days.
9. Played Kinect with Coop and got worked.
10. Skied. In the rain.
11. Skied in the sunshine. Ahhhh, much better.
12. Watched T in her ski lesson and then took a few runs with her.
13. Chopped and burned the Christmas tree. Bode watched Grandpa pretty intently.
14. Played games.
15. Watched movies.
16. Took a nap or two.
17. Enjoyed the warm mineral water of the hot springs.
18. Went to church.
19. Had great dinner time conversation.
20. Ate a kid free dinner at Shore Lodge.
21. Slept in separate beds all week. One with T, one with B.
22. Ran obstacle courses in the basement.
23. Soaked in the hot tub.
24. Watched Bode practice walking and open and close the bounteous cupboards and drawers.
25. Simply had ourselves a wonderful Christmas time.
