A Night Out

We went to the theatre this week. Bode stayed back and was put to bed by Oning and Wade and I had a triple date with Tessa. The real theatre or anything semi-resembling it does not exist in Saudi, so Tessa dressed up like she was going to Broadway and we went to the American School's junior high production of Peter Pan. Laugh as you will people, we take what we can get. Suffice it to say that Tessa and her outfit were the star of the show. If there's one thing I have learned here in Riyadh, it is to manage my expectations and that includes the Junior High production of Peter Pan. The kids however know no different and are thrilled, she was taken with the show, the Krispy Kreme at intermission and a night with just mom and dad. She's still our favorite girl.
