Can you hear me crying on the inside?
We had balloons and donuts for breakfast, shared cupcakes with his class and ate cake with dad when he got home a few days later. We went to the toy store after school where he picked out a light saber, rode bikes at Al Barsha Park and spent the next two days convincing him that he was 3, not 5.
The plan was to have a Fireman Party the following week. But due to scheduling difficulties, a slow shipment from the US, an un-anticipated ear and throat surgery and me, just generally not having it together, it ended up being about a month later. Poor kid was asking about his fya-man for weeks. He seemed to have a good time. I hope it was worth the wait Bubs!
We had a house full of fire chiefs who put out fires, rescued kitty’s from trees and raced fire engines.
Bode rarely denies me a smooch.
This wild three year old is an easy one to love.
