In the back seat of car one day he pipes up, “Let’s go to
the desert and ride a camel. No. A dinosaur. Let’s go to the desert and find a
dinosaur.”
K: How was school today Bodes?
B: It was good. I pushed Frankie.
K: Why did you do that?
B: Because. That’s why I did it.
K: What do you want to get Ms Christine for a tank you gift?
B: (after a moment of contemplation) A toy helicopter. She
will weally want that.
I got a deal…translates to, I got an idea.
I can’t know how…translates to, I don’t know how.
Slipperly=Slippery
Globin=Goblin
K: Guess who’s coming tomorrow!
B: What?
K: Guess who’s coming tomorrow!
B: Who’s Guess?
K: No! Someone’s coming tomorrow, who is it?
B: Guess. Guess is coming tomorrow.
And then he does hilarious things like dressing in character
90% of the places we go. Or being incapable of watching a show without a snack. (As in he started crying the other day while watching a show because he had no snacks. "Mom! Look at my hands! {holding them up to show me} I don't have any snacks in them!!!) Or talking to his baby brother in a little baby voice. Or like today, I pulled
up after picking T up from school to find him right out in the front yard,
pants around his ankles, peeing into the potted plant, while waving at me and my arrival.
I will miss my days of walking through the neighborhood hiding from the wicked queen or making cookies with a genuine baker or making up things for him to fix. He's enthusiasm for life is
contagious.

contagious.

On this day, Bode snorkeled for 45 minutes without ever putting his head in the water...I think we may have a genius on our hands folks!
And on this day, we went for a treat in between picking him up from school and returning shortly after to get his sister. We had a lengthy conversation regarding all things poo poo and pee pee.
And this, his prize of choice for filling up his good behavior sticker chart.
He's like a fine wine this one. Minus the sophistication. He just gets better with age.
