We aren't nationals of the Emirates, but we love her like we are. And we feel at home in this adopted country of ours. So when the chance arises to celebrate her, we're all in. Tessa and Bode celebrated at school with a parade and carnival. The rest of us joined in the reverie later that night with fireworks and flags on Kite Beach.
