Dad was out of town, the boys would not have appreciated it and the girls needed some girl time. So we started the annual tradition of seeing 'The Nutcracker' together.
The best part of this night, aside from being together...was that dress. I saw the fabric awhile ago in Satwa and it stole my heart. I knew something fabulous could be done with it. So I suggested to Tess that we design a Christmas dress. We sat down at the kitchen table one afternoon and sketched it out. She placed the ruffle sleeves here, the bow there, the pouffy skirt just so and then we took the sketch in to the tailor where he worked his magic into this little masterpiece. So there you have it. Two traditions born this Christmas season.
