Poor C.J.

Miss Chloe Jane has a thyroid problem. Wade and I took her to the vet last week hoping to find her some relief for her allergies. She has been so itchy and her poor little eyes were so weepy, she just seemed miserable. Well, whilst at the vet, she was weighed. And I nearly fell over. She and I weigh in about the same...minus baby. That would be an increase of approximately 15 pounds in the past year! Holy crap. The vet recommended we test her thyroid, if her levels were low it would explain her dramatic weight gain, lethargy and itchy dry coat. As it turns out her levels were extraordinary low, so she will be on a pill twice a day indefinitely until we can re-regulate her thyroid levels. I'm just so glad there was a solution to the problem. She really is the best dog ever. Wade and I talk all the time that when the time comes for her to go, I don't know that we could ever replace her, I don't know that we could ever again have a dog as good as she is, or that we like as much! I love you Miss Chloe and am glad you are feeling better already!

PS-I have loads of good updates...like Wade's graduation, the move out of St. Louis...but I have packed my camera cord in a box somewhere...so when I find it, get excited, there will be lots of good stuff!

Poor Chloe, thank goodness for good parents and helping her out. Hope all goes well with the move and looking forward to lots of pictures of sunny California. I'm looking forward to Leah being pregnant for the second item you listed in "pregnancy unknowns." Sounds like fun :) Probably wont happen for a few years though.

I'm so sorry about miss chloe, while it's a total bummer I'm glad there was a temporary solution. Is she hanging out with lou this week?
