From There to Here

Leaving St. Louis...

Arriving in So Cal. I made at least 12 trips to Good Will before leaving St. Louis, just FYI. I realize it may not look like it, but I did. Moving at least forces you to do some purging.

We are settling in slowly but surely. My sister Lindsay made the trek with Chloe and I from SLC to CA. She was a little life saver and holy cow does she have muscles, she was lifting boxes up and over her head that made the movers sweat! She helped me unpack the essesntials and I have been slowly starting to do the rest. Wade is into the swing of things at work and is really liking it and happy thus far. We spent our first weekend here picking up fresh produce at the local farmers market and hitting the beach. So far, so good!

I can't wait to see more of the new place! Nice that you have a couple of months to get settled before your world turns upside down! Just kidding, it won't be that bad...I actually can't wait until the little lady gets here!

So sad to leave one place but exciting to go to another!! I want to see pics of your new place too!! Word of advice (I know everyone is probably giving you advice) but... get all your organizing/unpacking done quickly before the baby comes. I was in the middle of some reorganization projects etc. when Ben came and the piles are still sitting waiting for my attention. But I am just slow like that anyway. I am sure you are more on the ball. :)

I hope to see you in Cali when we are there!!

It sounds like a boring life. You definitely should move to Daybreak Utah where you could row in a small man made lake (vs. a big huge ugly ocean) You could ride your bikes along the trails of sage brush instead of along the ocean side. I am not sure what you were thinking. (plus there is a Chik-fil-a right across the street for Wade to work at) In all sincerity I can't wait to come and visit. Where are the pics of your guests room?

Now that the move is out of the way, let us know when visitors are welcome. Katelyn, rub your belly for Leah. She is rubbing her own, fortunatly nothing is growing in hers, just a really big dinner. Glad to see all went smoothly. Looking forward to seeing your new apartment photos and the surrounding areas.
Cheers,
Paul and Leah
