...therefore it is time to visit a pumpkin patch or two. I wasn't aware of this fact of life until I had a kiddo. But as a parent I seem to be always looking for new things to do, to keep Tessa busy and provide her with little glimpses of the big, bad world. And the Pumpkin Patch come October is one glimpse that I'm happy to expose.
T and I went solo last weekend to Tanaka Farms while Dad was riding his bike for 8 hours. We missed him, but had fun just the same, we usually do :) It was really pretty actually, a real, live working farm right here in the OC. Nearly made me miss my brother right to death.
Tessa dug on the fresh air, peek-a-boo with the lamb, and petting zoo. She also liked the wagon ride too the petting zoo, courtesy of John Deer. I'll tell ya, I was waxing nostalgic for Boogs.
With the goats...
hmmm...
let's give this guy a try.
Oh man, that is funny stuff!
Makes me laugh right out loud.
I am not a real goat fan myself. They're a bit pesky and stinky and up in the hizza for my liking, but Tessa, she's a fan.
I am a fan of Tessa.
Part two...
we took another trip to a more Carnival like Pumpkin Patch with Dad Saturday night. I insisted he had to see her with the goats.
Our little goat fan.
The train ride started out similar to the goats, looking up at daddy with great uncertaintity...
and then we got a clap!
Tessa: next stop, turkeys!
And lastly, right where a little girl should end a great night...

Okay you totally inspired me to go to the pumpkin patch here. We have 2 within a 10 mile radius, ha. It was so much fun, we went there last night for "family home evening." Tonight we are going to carve them. I love this season.
