Palm Springs

We joined the Murray's and the Openshaw's for an impromptu trip to Palm Springs recently. The quarters were a bit tight and it was no easy task getting three toddlers to sleep and nap in said tight quarters, but the hours at the pool seemed to outweigh the troubled sleep. And, it seems if you get them tired enough, they'll sleep. See?

Tessa was a bit indifferent regarding the slide, unlike Jake and Luke. She was good for one or two trips down and then was done. Those boys however could make a person dizzy doing laps around that waterslide!

When it came to swimming, buckets, torpedo's and goggles however, Tessa was right at home.

Something about a little kid in goggles that is downright hilarious...

We spent the mornings looking for ducks and bunnies. These three are the best of pals, not that they had much choice initially, it tends to happen when their parents are the same. If it's been to long since we've seen them last, Tessa will start to say, "Luke? Jake? Lukeyjakey?" Hopefully this is just the beginning of a lifetime of impromptu weekends away.
