Check out this major bummer. I tried to fly off a bench in a dressing room today. That backfired! After a nap, lots of tears, refusing to put any weight on my foot, xrays, and motrin the doctor came back and told me and my mommy and daddy that I had a fracture in my tibia. Arrgh! I have been a really good sport, was really brave when they were putting on this big ole splint and have been happy to just chill out on the floor playing ball and puzzles. I call it my boot. A bit before bedtime though I started saying, "Boot off? Boot off?" Oh boy, the novelty is already wearing off. I have to go to a specialist in the next day or two it maybe get a hard cast, wish me luck!!

tessie, no more flying!! stick to swimming and running... I hear you're good at those! wishing your mommy lots of patience while you get used to your new summer lifestyle... love you to pieces.

My heart hurt when I saw that picture.
But I think we all know the real reason she is in a "boot" is because you and Wade really opted for her to receive surgery to help her run faster. I would have done the same thing.
Oh sweet little Tessie. Sorry about your leg Miss. I hope you feel better soon. I bet that's pretty frustrating having a huge boot that isn't even cute, doesn't match any of your clothes, and you can't take it off either. Bummer babe. Can you at least take it simming?
So sorry Tessa! Cousin Mya feels your pain! Tell the doctor you want a cool one like hers that was pink and waterproof. Sorry you are hurt cute little bug, hope you are feeling better soon.

oh NO! That is awful! i hope your doctor can give her the waterproof cast. thats what lilly had, and it saved us. Poor little thing!

Oh dear Tess, I'm so sorry. Hang in there and milk it all you can. Maybe you could even get your Grammies to send you things, or even better, Visit. They'll do it if you ask I just know it.

I am so sorry that you hurt your leg. Ouchie! You look like such a tough little cookie now though. I know that cast won't slow you down. Hang in there!! Hope you, mommy, and daddy are all staying sane. ;)

Sooooooooooooooooooooo sad and sorry to hear about Little Miss Tessa!!! Hope she heals and mends quickly and ENJOYS the "extra" TLC from sooooooooooooooooo many that love her and ESPECIALLY her Mom who does it sooooooooo well!!!

So sad. But she does look pretty Bad-A in that "boot". She can think of all sorts of cool stories to tell people how it happened. Like she was trying to be the youngest person to climb Mt. Everest or something. :) All our best to her!!!
P.S. We will be in Capistrano for 2 weeks in Mid and end of July. Lets hang out!!!!!!
