McCall in the Fall

The beginning of September Tessa and I stole a few days and went to McCall with Grandpa and Gram. McCall is so quiet and pretty in the fall and I knew I wouldn't get up there this winter with a new baby on his way, so we took our chance while we could. It was a mellow, cozy few days as the weather outside didn't lend itself to boating or playing in the water. We worked on sewing projects, drank hot cocoa, went for a walk in the gardens, read books and I fell in the lake while trying a "new route" back on a morning run.

Tessa started doing the "smile" when you tell her to for a photo...

We played throw a leaf or stick on one side of the bridge and watch it come out the other. The simple wonders of nature...

I can't believe you fell in the lake! I had to read it twice and then I had to laugh.
