We are staying home for the holidays this year. I have been looking forward to Santa visiting Tessa at her own house, being with my little family, and I have been really excited about our real tree. The past few years we have always returned to Utah or McCall or London for Christmas and as a result I always hedged on getting a real tree, it seemed a fire hazard left alone for two weeks. I have grown fond of our charming white plastic number and when we have a bigger place, it will find another spot in our home, but my had I forgotten the Christmas miracle of a real tree. The smell is euphoric.
She loves it too.

I love real Christmas trees too! That Tessanator is so cute!
you picked a winner- I need to see it decorated.
REAL is the ONLY way to go. Way to keep the tradition alive. I don't think our boys know there is any other option. They all feel bad for their friends that have fake trees. (Just don't curse the thing the day after Christmas when you're dragging it outside and cleaning up all the needles.)
you are going to love staying home and making your own memories. enjoy it.
tess is looking more and more like you. i hate that she is changing so much and i just have to watch it happen through pictures!
