Maybe not so much a trip as an over night, but I felt it an accomplishment just the same. Tessa, Bode and I were lucky enough to be in Utah this summer for the annual Hunt Family night of camping. I was a little daunted by two small children, Bode in particular, in a tent by myself all night long. But I have to say, it went off without a hitch, they kids slept like a dream and naturally, had a brilliant time with their cousins in the wide open space.
The kids got a kick out of the camp fire and Bode found a new friend in the s’more.
Marian had of course out done herself once more with a treasure hunt complete with map and trinkets.
The adults enjoyed the entertainment provided by Adam, Jim and the desperate attempts to chop some wood.
And we made sure to get in a hike to Donut Falls while we were at it.
A great weekend in the Wasatch Mountains!
