The Arabian Desert has been unleashing her inner fierce a lot lately. Lots of dust storms in Riyadh the past few weeks. They are every bit as miserable as they appear. And I feel like I can't adequately capture the muck with a camera. On the worst days, Tessa is not allowed to play outside at school and masks are handed out in stores. You can taste it, smell it and I stress about my children developing asthma. We change air filters often and turn humidifiers on in the house, it makes the dust heavier, bringing it to ground level, so there's not so much of it floating in the air. But it's a mess, the photo of the front porch is one nights worth...I had hosed off it off the previous afternoon. Life in the big, big desert.
