Tessa took this photo last week on our staycation here in Dubai and Al Ain. I've looked at it about 40 times since and can't help but think anything other than, "Well, at least my feeling ridiculous isn't in vain. Because I surely look it." No wonder every Tom, Dick and Rashid I meet on the street, at the grocery, at school, in the mall etc. etc. has some snarky comment. Even the comments that are made to be supportive sound just wretched, like, "That just looks painful!" or "You poor thing, how are you doing?!" To which I wish I had the chops to say, "I'd be a hell of a lot better if you'd just keep your trap shut." But alas, I just smile sarcastically and say, "I'm just fine." and go on my way. Truth of the matter is, it IS painful, I'm dreadfully uncomfortable and miserable and can't wait to trade one form of a sleepless night for another. At least I'll have this cute little nugget to look at in the middle of the night.

Dr. Ayad told me at my appointment on Sunday that he'll deliver this baby on November 3rd. This is brilliant news. I can make it to November 3rd. I think.

Umm... you could not be cuter and it looks like the only thing is a basketball under there. I look like I have a few different babies on my body! So happy that you get to deliver on the 3 rd I will be at the very end of November. I don't know how I will last! Can't wait to see pictures of this new baby of yours.
