A Chilly Night Out

Last night Jules and I went our for a little Christmas dinner. It was rainy and cold and provided a great backdrop to a cozy dinner. I work with Julie and love, love her. She is like my mom, friend, supporter and partner in crime all wrapped into one. She worries about me like my mom does, we laugh and cry together like friends do, she's always cheering Wade and I on regardless of what it is we're doing and we share the joys and frustrations of work. We only get to work together on Tuesday's, which is a bummer, but this summer while Wade was gone she was such a good friend to me and we'd go out to dinner together after work. Last night we dined at Luciano's, a yummy Italian place. I'm grateful to know her and feel blessed that she is part of my St. Louis experience!

Those kinds of friends are priceless. It's rare to find someone you click with so well who is not your own age. She seems like a keeper.
